"This isn't about a hunting accident. It's about how the office of the vice president — and the Bush administration — does business. It suggests a sloppiness and an inattention to detail that ill-becomes the world's only superpower. ... The American people expect the top offices of the executive branch to be run competently and efficiently. Maybe they are.
