I have a good humidor box along with the gauges but I also live in S. Fla. The ideal humidity for cigars is 68-72% but seems to me our humidity is always in that range in the house so I wonder if I wasted my money on the humidor box? jdn

The cigars I had trouble with were from a cigar shop that didn't have them in a humidor, so you are probably right. My cigars don't last long enough to need a humidor. I smoke only a few a year.
