Ork both you and GST are making way too much sense. So are we going onto a recession first with the long end still low and yield curve inverted? Followed by a slow persistent rise in the long end as the fed drops fed funds, inflation pressures rise, deficits can't be financed as easily and the dollar drops leading to a second more serious downturn as mortgage rates get back to where they were only 6-7 years ago?
