Your singing the same tired tune. The American people by virtue of their elected representatives voted to support the effort. And despite your claims of chicanery, they recently voted again to continue the effort.

The only method you would subscribe to would be akin to dictators of the pacifist left making unilateral decisions without the support of congress, the President or the American people.
