I hate paying for what I can get for free.

You can't get what you get with XM or SIRI for free.

Picture this:

You are driving cross-country. 2,500 miles. Your radio will never fade out or lose stations (except perhaps momentarily if you are in a narrow canyon or mountain pass, or possibly a tightly packed forest).

You have an amazing selection of news and music.

Like to watch Hannity & Colmes on Fox? You can get them on the satellite radio.

Like to watch CNN (I don't know why you would)? You can get them on the satellite radio.

Like smooth jazz? Ditto.

Like Electronic music? Ditto.

Like big band swing music? Ditto.

Like blues? Ditto.

The list goes on and on.

The other benefit is it is all commercial free.

IMO, it is worth the $12.95/month I am paying.
