Re "snarling"......sorry, got a little carried carried away by the "hound" theme.....Long time ago, and you know my memory-challenged state, but think I got back one of those 3-lettered responses (not, of course, from you).....

Will be very interested to read those refs you provided. I think it is a fairly standard concept...a) that TA patterns etc. can and do fail, and .b) and that such failures ....not always or necessarily.. can lead into the opposite direction (strength or weakness as the case may be)

What I think got me into trouble was my brash assertion (typical...sigh) that it was not a question of a pattern failure..but of an initial bad read....the presumed pattern had never been there.....and question of its "failure" moot...

Have learned to be more discreet...even silent once in a while....but still feel sometimes that the number of hounds abounding seems excessive.....
