Running Lieberman for VP was one of the dumbest moves in American political history IMHO. Absolutely!

Nader cost Gore the election. So did Bushie cheating. And maybe so did Lieberman who I never liked. If Gore had picked Kerry he would have won. If Nader had stopped lying that there is no difference between Gore and Bush, Bush would have been stopped. If Jeb Bush hadn't helped GW cheat in Florida the same. These are the three main reasons Goree was not president, though he actually beat Bush. He certainly got more votes. One more factor that put Bush into power was the dishonest smear campaign against Clinton and using Ken Starr to investigate his sex life. This was a total sham and abuse of power. Also, every single one of the ---gate "scandals" circulated in those days about CLinton murdering, raping, stealing and drug-running were totally untrue. All of the above is how Bush got into power in 2000. And btw, yes Bushies did promote Nader.
