You are right about the money and the terrorists but the timing may be wrong here. We need to incent hamas to govern well and then what moves them to terror might lessen. It will be one hell of an experiment if done. Money is fungible and the alternative is to throw them to the iranians and saudis if we dont fund. Asking israel to hand over the tax money is tough too but again the money is not whats mostly at stake. Most folks think i am nuts on this one. As much as i hate terror i recognize that why they went to it is a sense of total helplessness over the years which was fostered by that bum arafat and the arab states. Suicide bomber should have headed for arafat, and the phony arab leaders and not innocnt israelis. Israel though far from perfect was scapegoated by the arab leaders so their people would blame someone else for their misfortune. Imagine the world if 1947 UN mandate was accepted by the arab leaders.

Totally agree with that Michael. It would be good for the President to tell us all why we are continuing to pour money into these countries, when their people are so openly anti-US.

I wonder how many trillions of dollars have gone to these foreign countries, and what the money has been used for....
