OFF TOPIC: I am getting personally concerned about the long term prospects for the US dollar and its effects on my purchasing capabilities later on. I believe that the dramatic rise in gold and platinum was the result of a major shift in sentiment regarding the US dollar and the mounting fiscal imbalances, which I used to write off a mere %'s of GNP, and thus nothing to worry about. I have also read that the FED won't be issuing reports on M3 figures anymore, as they are a tip off to hyperinflation realities and thus a non no for the constituents to have to be burdened with. your thoughts?
