I don't watch Fox directly myself for the same reason that I don't watch or read any deliberate partisan media, so I can't comment directly on their coverage this week. Folks can debate the relative leanings of the other most widely watched TV and print outlets; I find American network news and the American version of CNN much more tabloidy than BBC World or CNN International, just like the CNBC US crew has a different style from the CNBC Europe broadcast.

Rupert Murdoch knows that tabloid content and pro-right rhetoric will always sell well with a certain audience - that is his product and his market.
