And one of the purpose of this list and the axis of evil is to allow folks to get off thru good deeds. Libya turned in their nukes and voila. It is a gamble with hamas but i think its worthwhile.
The key word for the mideast conflict is exhaustion on both sides. The Pals think, wrongly i might add, that they won something thru terror. The israelis think, also wrongly, that disengagement and the wall somehow guarantees their safety. Does it really when missiles get closer to their borders? Both are wrong but both are also exhausted from the conflict. Sharon/Olmert and Hamas are unlikely partners but stranger things have happened. Hamas will be judged by the pal people on how they rule. IF they are successful and particularly if they are successful with money coming from israel and the west, their constituents wont be happy with another infitada and being added back to the terror list. I think there is logic in this argument.

That list is incomplete, it fails to list the Democratic Party of the USA led by Howard Dean with lieutenants Reid, Kennedy, Kerry, Schumer, Pelosi and others. jdn
