Nuclear may be a bridge between what we have now and truly clean energy. Nuclear could be used to make hydrogen fuel, for instance. Maybe the lesser of two evils. First and foremost we need leadership in power which is not in bed with the big oil and power companies. Until that happens nothing benefitting the people will happen, only benefitting short-term profits for the energy gougers. Very bad for the environment too. Bush-cheney are not just in bed with them, they ARE them.
