Watched it....In my first test, (with the #6 shot)the gallon milk jug filled with water was about the size of the watermelon. The pattern I achieved covered the target really well. It's true that not all the shot did the same amount of damage and some were stopped without double penetration, but at least as many went through both sides. The impact was clear and hard. My 30 yard #8 shot today would have penetrated skin. At 18 feet, I would have torn out collar bones and ripped the neck and cheeks apart(whichever one of those I had hit , but not all three due to the pattern size at that range).

Either the 28 gauge is one candy assed gun or my wal-mart bought low brass 20's are hell on wheels. He claimed marginal effect at 30 feet also, I don't buy any that for a minute.

It would be nice to get a look at Mr. Whittington's clothing.

Something marginally less than 30 yards maybe...18 feet, not a chance in hell.

The pellet did not penetrate the ribcage...it penetrated the unprotected throat area and migrated into the ribcage....
