You folks are all coming here and defending him, challenging what I say on technicalities but sidestepping the issue. Scarborough and others have also denounced Cheney's arrogant behavior and it is time to give up trying to defend Cheney.

You are spinning some pretty wild inferences. I didn't see Tim defend Cheney. And I'm sure I didn't. What you are perceiving is a figment.

if Cheney really cared for Bush, he should pack and leave.

Bush thinks the same way Cheney thinks. That is, if Bush did a little bit more thinking - he would think the same way as Cheney. It would make no difference if Cheney left.

If someone said Stalin killed 1 billion people with his bear hands, and I argued against that idea, someone might attack me for "defending Stalin".

I do think that people have maid unsubstantiated claims about Cheney. I also wouldn't give him the boot right now. I'm not sure either of those amounts to defending Cheney and if they do amount to that I don't think it is an unreasonable defense.
