rose~ sounds like it is already getting nice there. not so here... sigh it's bright and sunny today, but the temperature has actually fallen since i got up before 6 this morning. it's about -5F with winds gusting to 20 mph and windchill of -25. the front door keeps freezing to the sash. last night, as the temperature dropped, the house was making those groaning and cracking noises that you hear in very cold weather when the planks and roof trusses bend and contract. so much for going hiking today! (my plan for the weekend) just went outdoors for a couple of minutes and there are "snow devils" blasting along over the open fields across the road from my place... brrrh!!! <g> it's supposed to be a bit warmer tomorrow tho'.. around 20F. so perhaps we'll get out and about then. ~croc
