There were definitely some funny comments on the blog below that article. Gregory should heed this one: Too Bad Ignorance isn't painful! Here's some others: I particularly like the last one....<ggg>Tim Graham Says: February 17, 2006 - 21:25 This is one of those nights where David Gregory is really playing a game, and the game is "I Know You Are, But What Am I?" It's clear this week that David Gregory, by his jerkish, look-at-me behavior in the briefing room has clearly become a "political liability" to NBC News. And to blame Cheney for causing a "distraction"! When the media's been manufacturing the distraction all week! Chutzpah. DontTreadOnMe Says: February 17, 2006 - 21:33 Well said Tim. He has definitely become a liability to NBC, I think they've had him on every show including Scarborough to try and explain his behavior as if he could do no wrong. The more he talks about this the sicker he makes me, and probably a majority of Americans as well. captainfish Says: February 17, 2006 - 22:03 Is it me? Am I one of a few people on this planet that got it? Is the media that self-loving that when a person gets up and just dumps the sarcasm all over them like a blown up concrete truck, they just can't get it? David Gregory said that Harry W. was praising the media. To me he was slapping them silly with the sarcasm. Saying that his ordeal was nothing compared to what the VP has gone thru..... meaning.. you media people have put the VP thru more hell than I have gone thru and I was shot. They are too close-minded to outside ideologies that they could not even hear themselves being shot. Shot down that is. Here over the last few days they have been waiting for him to die... and not a word about how much of a miracle it was that he got up and walked out of the hospital and spoke to the nation. I wonder if there will be any apologies on the part of the media for wishing he would die so they could charge the VP with manslaughter, just so they could cover the story. Guess I won't hold my breath.
