6. Know your safe zone-of-fire and stick to it. Your safe zone-of-fire is that area or direction in which you can safely fire a shot. It is "down range" at a shooting facility. In the field it is that mental image you draw in your mind with every step you take. Be sure you know where your companions are at all times. Never swing your gun or bow out of your safe zone-of-fire. Know the safe carries when there are persons to your sides, in front of, or behind you. If in doubt, never take a shot. When hunting, wear daylight fluorescent orange so you can be seen from a distance or in heavy cover

<< "Do you know Cheney personaly?" >>

Nope

<< "have you ever hunted with him?I havent." >>

Nope.

<< "Mine is only an opinion. So is yours if you cant reply in the affermative to the above." >>

Yes I expressed my opinion as did you.

<< "You none the less are convinced your view is the only reality.who here is delusional." >>

No, I never said my opinion was the "only" reality. I said my opinion was reality based & yours was not.

As I established, my opinion was formed by taking known facts & credible evidence that can be independently verified, then logically & reasonably considering those factors.

My opinion is solidly in line with the Sheriff who investigated the incident & determined it was an accident. It also mirrors the opinion of the shooting victim, Mr. Whittington. And it is also in line with the eye witnesses, all of whom have hunted with Cheney in the past.

I've already established that your opinion was based on unsubstantiated assertions, misrepresentations of fact & the application of rigid standards of absolute perfection to determine competence for someone you have a strong bias against to begin with.

I am willing to consider evidence already known & any new evidence that may affect my opinion in order to maintain a reality based POV. It now obvious that you are not. You are emotionally & inflexibly attached to your position regardless of the facts.

My opinion is reality based. Yous is not.

If you can't see the difference, there is little use discussing this issue further, is there?

<< "PS My father taught me to shot at the age of 5 and I was top marksman on a rifle team,so it is safe to say i know abit about gun safety." >>

I took a hunting safety course at age 12. My father taught me even more about hunting safety. I have more than 2 decades of hunting experience.

I have seen & been involved in a number of hunting incidents. I have been peppered with birdshot twice & almost shot a few other times. Most of these incidents were unfortunate accidents involving friends, family & complete strangers.

I have personally witnessed incompetent hunters on multiple occasions. I have left a number of hunting parties because of incompetent people.

So your point is?
