Yes, I remember it. I had a good friend who got hooked by it and tried to get me into it, too.

That skepticism I might use to justify looking beyond the radio and TV stations to find out not only who is making money but what is their agenda.

I buy that, but just like trust, distrust can be blind and crippling. People who want to make money may or may not have secondary agendas that they can parlay. People who are agenda driven may find that they parlay that into a financial reward. How their primary and secondary objectives will rank in any given scenario is hard to gauge. I tend to expect that business people put money first and anything else is just gravy and that likely applies to Murdoch.
