After years of Bush as President, and analysis of the 2000 election showing Bush would have won in about 4 out of 5 of all the various proposed counting scenarios imaginable, it's clear to me that no amount of evidence will convince you he won, even the fact that he is the President. If Harry Browne hadn't been on the ticket, Bush would have avoided this controversy. So in a way I am right from your point of view, because the votes for Browne weren't wasted in the sense that they delivered the close election without which Democrats would have had no "stolen election" issue to exploit.
