And Bush's policies have helped make that happen. Arabs have always been a bit hostile to us (and vice versa) because of natural prejudices, but ever since Bush-Cheney unilaterally invaded and occupied Iraq, really firing up around the time of the Abu Graib revelations, Arab opinion against the US (or at least against the Bushie leaders of the US) has hardened.

Proof is the Iranian and Iraqi elections. If those had been held a year or two earlier there would have been far less anti-American sentiment.

If we had new leadership this hardened anger vs. the US would subside greatly. It would not go away but it might not dominate anymore.
