"Peak oil", "peak fish" and... I remember reading about "peak water" somewhere recently!

Not to worry. Copter man Bernanke will take care of us so we never have to lose sleep over these problems! ;-)

Re: "peak water", there is a Palisades Water Index ETF (ticker : PHO) from Powershares that seeks to benefit from companies that are involved in water supply, processing, purification etc.

Mish;
If we have passed "peak fish" doesn't that though suggest inflation? Fewer fish equal less supply. It's not only fish, but chickens. How many chickens the world over are being killed and buried to prevent the spread of bird flu? Where do we get eggs? And cows with BSE? Corn to eat then? Nope going to make ethanol out of that because there isn't enough oil. (great link offered on article by Michael Klare - thanks) Proof of this trend is not by looking at CPI or PPI, but by going to grocery store. Ouch!

Restrictions of supply and flooding of US dollars sure seems to me that Bernanke might have a long way to go on rising of interest rates.
