On the contrary, I think it is their timid, half-move to the right which has cost them their party identity, as well as the respect of Progressives and Moderates who would like to actually have a choice at the ballot box. I thought Clinton did a good job of setting the Dems in the right direction, which they have since abandoned, but your are of course entitled to your opinion. He understood popular sentiment better than most. Perhaps not as well as Reagan, but very close. And with all due respect for you, sir, I would also question advice to hens coming from the foxes LOL! Why do you think my advice matters? I'm no national pol or journalist, just someone posting my opinions on an obscure thread. Part of the incredibly effective GOP political strategy has been having Dems In Name Only consistently pop up as Congresscritters, journalists, etc. Interesting thought. So you think Lieberman is a GOP plant? As proof of this, can anyone here think of a GOP equivalent for Lieberman or Cuellar? Or for that matter, Hanson? Non sequitur.
