The current Bush EPA is owned by pollutors and Big Oil. very sad to say. Their job under Bush-Cheney is to do as little as possible and cover up any statistics unfavorable to pollutors and big oil. read Christy Todd WHitman's book "It's My Party Too" if you don't believe me. Bushies betrayed WHitman. Hired her as EPA chief for credibility then backstabbed her and refused all her requests. Exxon rules the EPA now. And Exxon also rules Bush. When you support Bush you support Exxon, Halliburton and every other polluter and gas gouger. So why would you support them? Bush has also screwed up everything he has touched, including counter-terrorism, Iraq and Homeland Security. And he's allowed about a trillion bucks to be ripped off from US taxpayers and consumers. if you defend Bush you're an accomplice. if you have to support the GOP then support Hagel or McCain. Not Bush. Bush is a sell-out, liar and crook.
