Too many old farts with too much money to spend in Florida. That's why the gov't taxes the bejesus out of everything.

In Nevada, we have our casinos to pay for gov't with tourist money... "Y'all come and spend what you got!"

Of course, I once saw a sign when driving across the Georgia Florida border that said something like, "Welcome to Florida. Help keep Florida green. Bring money." Other states have expressed similar thoughts since I first saw it in the 50's.
