Bush-Cheney owe it to the people to force their oil company cronies to put up tens of billions of gouged profits to finance new clean fuels programs. Either that or windfall profits taxes against the big oil gougers, polluters and companies like Halliburton who have stuck it to tax-payers in Iraq. Bush-Cheney owe this to the people but will never deliver, because they ARE the big oil gougers and Halliburton. They are the very crooks why are gouging us so that zero dollars from those many billions can go to fixing our energy future. To Bush-Cheney, greed is good, greed works, but only greedy amongst their industrial inner circle, those who have paid the GOP enough to get carte blanche to gouge consumers and taxpayers. First in line were Halliburton and Exxon. Enron too before they went under.
