And that's the key point: The media is doing its best to create scandal were there is none...while under Clinton, they not only ignored scandal, but marginalized them to make them insignificant. That's not the way I remember things. I had to quit watching tv or reading the paper, because the MSM was hung up on the Lewinsky scandal for years. You talk about vilifying someone. You could not escape it...it was Monica and Starr 24-7. Yes Clinton is a liar. He lied about sex with Monica. Many people lie about sex. Everyone lies. We do expect that people in high office not lie to us on matters of great import. What's more important: Lying about sex, or lying about reasons for going to war? Orca

If they were doing their best they would be reporting things that I want to see. Not what they want me to see. I want to know where the Katrina money is being spent. And for what. I want to know where the billions in Iraq is going and for what. I want to know what the military budget contains and is spent on. I want to know why we are not fighting the war on terrorism headon instead of creating a haven for terrorists to thrive in. (Iraq) I want to know if my freedom is being protected or taken away, and why. I want to know who released Valerie Plames identity. I want to know why a Dubai company is being awarded a contract for multiple port management in the U.S. And who stands to benefit. I want to know why a subsidiary of Halliburton is allowed to operate within Iran and who stands to profit from that. I want to know why Tamiflu is awarded a lucrative government contract for bird flu protection when it is not proven that Tamiflu is an effective treatment. And who stands to profit from it. I want to know more but I stand a fat chance of seeing it on the nightly news or CNBC. I want to know where the culture of corruption originates. And how to get rid of it. Democrat or Republican. I want to know why everyone doesn't want that. Democrat or Republican.
