I'd love it if we had a female President. In fact, I suspect we may very well get one in 3 years. The last thing I am is a sexist. However, the female Presidents in those Muslim countries don't seem to be making much progress, if they can't guarantee the rights of the women in their own country to be equal with the men. How can you say they are equal when honor killings are rampant and women are often gang-raped or stoned or killed for socializing with men outside of marriage. Shoot, Muslim women can do as little as talk to a man outside of their marriage and be killed for it. You call that enlightenment? Women in the Muslim world are nothing more than chattel and if those countries have women who are Presidents then I'd say they are doing a darn crappy job, since they can't seem to protect the women in their own countries.
