20% is nuclear

50% is coal

20% is gas

and the rest is hydro

Are you sure that oil is used for anything but special cases?

Those are the stats and it would help to google a bit before making statements......

Sure they do. Fuel oil, natural gas and coal is what most used. the further you get from coal producing regions, the more the other two are used.


Can you imagine......not thinking we use oil in our power plants? I was surprised when I read that one.
