It was a Plymouth Volare Wagon, original factory color. Some sort of tan, or as my wife said, baby poop yellow. One day I was driving that car down a rural highway with my wife following. She was honking her horn furiously but I couldn't hear it. We went by a fire station. The fire station alarm went off and a fire truck rolled, so of course I looked back and pulled over. The fire truck screeched to a stop and the firemen jumped out with their extinguishers, putting out a fire in my undercarriage. The baby poop Volare had been on fire, and I didn't even know it. I continued to drive that car for several more years.
