P.S. Overall tax receipts did reach a new high in fiscal year 2005 thanks to higher SS receipts and corporate taxes.

Corporate tax new high is a mirage.
A one time repatriation of money held overseas.

It will not be repeated for a long time.

Back at the peak in Tax Receipts there were huge inflows from capital gains from the equity markets.

I am fairly impressed that they are projected to be back near the peak.

I am seeing a lot of capital equipment expenditures in the Printed Circuit Industry for the last 6mths or so.

I'm not sure how long they last but it seems like the money supply is headed to the business side from the consumer side.
