I wouldn't go that far, at least not yet. The Russell 2000 and S@P 400 Midcap did not hit new 52 week highs last week. That's quite significant. The bull case requires that they promptly confirm last week's rally in the Dow. If they don't, a nasty decline should result. I'm looking for a reversal of sorts in these markets today or at the very latest tomorrow. It would be very bearish if the Russell 2000 and S@P 400 midcap did NOT hit new closing all time highs here. They have been the leaders throughout this bull market since the October 2002 lows. If they falter, the whole foundation of the bull crumbles and we can say good morning to a cyclical bear.

I'd be looking to increase my exposure to the short side on any non-confirmation in the small and midcap sectors here.
