Here in BCS, $10 an hour is about the best you can get, even with an education, unless you are a football coach or something like that. Many jobs pay minimum wage or a bit more. But you can also buy a house for under $50k or find a room to rent for $250 including bills


Cost of living is very cheap, you can't buy a house for $50k but you can find a shared room to rent for cheap. I don't know exact numbers, but low cost stuff exists. The number of workers on < $500 per month is so high that the cost of living HAS to accomodate them. But clothes, restaurants, movie theatres, etc are the same as in the US. You can survive on very little, but you can't do anything.
