This Cheney bungle has brought to light the shady nature of "the rich and famous" in America.

Mary Matlin was on "Meet the Press" trying to defend Cheney. First she said that the nation should not waste its time on the Cheney matter and should instead concentrate on other important stuff. A really good question until you say "Wait a minute, what about the Monica Lewinsky issue. Why did the Republicans waste all that taxpayers' money, leave alone the nation's time."

The she went on to ask "You think the Secret Service would allow the VP and his buddies with firearms if they were drunk?" Well the idiots in the red states may consume that. But the Secret Service is there to ensure the safety. For that matter why would the Secret Service even allow a group of people with firearms to be around the VP, sober or not?

Interesting to see the neo cons running for cover.
