But then again, the Clinton administration was ALWAYS problematic when it came to protection of Free Speech Rights, ot Privacy Rights --- as witnessed over and over again by such bone-headed policies as it's push for the 'Clipper Chip', support for embedding standardized government wiretap access into all commercial telephone and Internet switching gear sold in the USA (a policy continued by the Bushies...), and numerous other examples.
