In exchange for guaranteeing oil to us should disaster (faux or otherwise) strike/become necessary? There is a reason... and I would immediately suspect oil as the currency exchanged. Remember Chavez is hovering and Nigeria is on strike. We are still way down from Katrina and if it were not for the weather having been so warm... speaking of which...
