So, do I need a page limit.;-)

A local good government group which I'm a board member for sponsors an annual high school essay writing contest on, basically, the topic of what's wrong with the town and how can it be fixed. The two of us who did the work on it argued with the full board over the page length. There is a faction of the board who wants to argue that anything sensible can be said in three pages and, whats more, there is a healthy discipline in learning to compact one's thoughts.

I have to agree. However, as someone who takes several pages just to get the motor running, I had to push for more.

So we agree to a four page minimum, suggested eight page maximum. ;-)
