Do you realize the hogwash you are reposting?

"We're not securing our country in any way by selling our ports to foreigners," he said.

Dubai Ports will get the contracts to manage the US ports through the acquisition of a British Port company that has the contracts. In other words, foreigners are already managing the US ports in question. And I don't know the port management details, but the way the unions are I will bet you every single hands on worker at each port in question is an American citizen (except for a few Mexicans brought in to irritate John).

Has any politician that has objected to the Dubai acquisition explained to anyone the implication of Dubai gaining ownership of the US port management contracts. What, exactly, will change? Hmmm, you don't know? Neither do I. But it makes for a good soundbyte ("Arabs are taking over our ports!!!").

This issues is harmful political grandstanding as far as I can tell. Unless the objectors can explain what EXACTLY are the negative repurcussions of a transfer of ownerwhip of the port management contract from one foreign company to another foregin company, they are wasting our time for political reasons.
