I'm 100% for our free enterprise system, but I think you just hit the nail on the head, my real concern is that there is likely no oversight whatsoever, everyone seems to expect someone else to do it or depend too much on another agency to do that... I just find too many loopholes in this scenario, I think it smells awful and I cannot believe we're allowing it to go on... I would rather see a U.S. company take it over, even with Federal subsidies than to allow even the perception of foreign terrorist risk to take place... after all, we're at war, we need to control risk... even the opportunity of potential risk has to be contained and eliminated...

I found out this is not private enterprise... the company is a Dubai company controlled by the Dubai government... 2 of the 9/11 hijackers came from Dubai and their money went through the bank of dubai, also controlled by the same government who will now run and supervise these American ports... this is nuts!!! During war time, we should have NO foreign government running anything in the U.S....
