We used Scouts back in the 60s for Forest Survey in New York. I was a passenger in an accident with a newbie driving. I saw stars, but the other professional in the back seat with me was hospitalized.

Another guy had so much trouble with his Scout that he called up GSA and told them to come and get it. It would be parked in the lot of the Post Office in Plattsburg.

Every year when we turned in our GSA vehicles we would attach a list of needed repairs to the steering wheel. Every spring the same list would be taped to the steering wheel just like we left it.
