Sure. But I'm a US citizen first. You think "globalization" is going to lower the cost of a haircut in the US? Folks will fly to the ME for a cheaper haircut? No... but illegal (and legal) immigration CAN lower the wage of US barbers.

You miss my point entirely. You seem upset that the US barber only gets $10 per hour, and perhaps only $9 per hour next year. My question is how do you feel about the non-US barber who gets only $2 an hour, this year and next? Anything for him, or no?

What are you talking about John? In San Diego most people I know have their dentist in Tijuana, where they get an excellent job done at 1/3 of the US overly inflated prices. The practices are run by US and Mexico City educated dentists.

Same story in Sweden by the way. The Polish dentists offer same quality of job as the Swedish at a much lower price.
They can even afford to throw in the ferry trip, hotel and rental car for the time of the treatment.
The dental implant technology is of Swedish origin anyway. Just like in the US - and in Mexico.

The only job I could think of which couldn't be exported is grooming our garden. Kind of tough to move that one 20 miles down and over the Mexican border. But Americans have no clue how to do garden landscaping anyway, not even at $10 per hour.
