Congrats on the sturdy gain with UBB,...

i have not been that lucky after it shook me out in the second dip after I got in cheaply several years ago (first time, like in the fall 1998). Amazing to see that it is up like 10-fold and counting. Possibly never wrong to sell some stock while the going is good. At this time and some volatility in the brazilian telecoms I really look at the stuff from the short side (again).

Good luck!

Congrats! on your UBB. TBH never did perform as I expected though. It moved up in anticipation of privatization, and it was not really ready to compete with nimble players, pent-up demand notwithstanding. Vale do Rio Doce and Petrobras did great though(the Government encouraged the average Joe to buy into the latter two, and brought prices down just before "IPO". That did not happen with TBH...). It was a fun anyhow.

UBB now at 61 (a far cry from the 80 to 90) , and I already wonder whether this is 1998 revisit. Perhaps one more pop to 70s...it is not only that oils and other basic materials suffer but some rounds of general dumping in emerging markets.
