No, David Irving, the Historian.
He got famous with his chocking best seller "The Destruction of Dresden" at age 24. A remarkable and scary book in all its details.

Austria, for long after the war promoting the idea of being Hitler's innocent first victim with The Anschluss, only quite recently started actively digesting their Nazi past. Don't forget that their most prominent export ever was Hitler to Germany. So no surprise they over react on this issue IMO.

On the most recent David Irving news, see links below.

"Deborah Lipstadt, the American Jewish academic who exposes Holocaust deniers is not exactly David Irving's greatest fan.
Yet Lipstadt, arguably the best-known warrior against Holocaust denial, believes that the best outcome would be for Irving to be let go.

"I would not want to see him spend more time in jail," she says.

"I am uncomfortable with imprisoning people for speech. Let him go and let him fade from everyone's radar screens."
