Democrats have smarter, more honest solutions to every single problem we face. Some in the Dem party disagree on certain issues, but there is consensus to put forward the following:

- A smart, cautious redeployment from Iraq to nearby bases, letting the Iraqis run their own government. This will require Halliburton and Bushies to give up control of Iraqis oilfields, which they won't like. US taxpayers don't see a dime from, those oilfields though so this is strictly private corporate greed.

- Taking windfall profits out of Medicare and Prescription drugs to enable people to get less expensive health care. This will anger the lobbyists from the big Pharmas and HMO's who've given the Bushie rightwing more than 40 million in exchange for permission to gouge us for 100 billion.

- A real clean fuels program complete with carrot and stick tax incentives and punishments. The cleaner you are and the more you conserve, the more you are rewarded, and vice versa.

- Stricter anti-corruption measures in goverment including oversight with real teeth. If you're corrupt, you're out. This should also be combined with more campaign finance reform.

- Cutting the waste out of massive Bushie programs including in the defense budget. That cannot be off limits. There is tons of pork in that one.

- Balancing the budget again. This may require CLinton era taxes for the rich, but they did fine in the 90's.
