The Iraq war has cost us a lot of money and counting. And you would wonder why.

The cost of the war has now exceeded $200 billion. Don't forget the blood that goes along with that!

In California, the average cost of a roof top solar panel system capable of powering the entire house, charging the batteries on your electric Honda car, and selling excess power back to the grid costs $15,000.

$200 billion could have paid for the installation of roof top systems on 13.3 million homes! That would have cut our energy dependence by 10%! If the war goes on for another 10 years, that same money invested in alternative energy could have cut our energy dependence by 50%!
