I don't understand administrator privileges.

You can create users who use your PC. By default most computers come up as the "administrator". If you surf the Internet as Administrator, you open your box up to changes, such as installing new programs that don't tell you when it happens.

I only use the administrator feature when I go into safe mode. Normally, I have a separate identity when I am on the internet.
