12 species of parrot in this region including the Blue-throated, Blue & Yellow, Chestnut-fronted, and Golden-collared Macaws;Blue-winged Parrotlet, Dusky-headed and Yellow-chevroned Parakeets, and Orange-winged and Yellow-crowned Amazonas.

....Not much, SNS. ..gg....You've made it very clear that you're having a whale of a time, and enjoying it immensely....and that's GREAT !!

Being there in summer not a bad idea.....all you're really missing is the opera at the Colon, but if opera really grabs you, you can catch up on that back home...Used to be that things were less hectic as the crowds went down to Mar del Plata ..(unless they were rich enough to cross the Plata and head for Punta del Este)......Don't know whether economy has recovered enough for that to have resumed in a big way.....

And great about Greenspan......glad to hear you "liked the man very much".....LOL

Once again......really great to hear how much you're enjoying it.....
