Don't worry about Q's ability to address two birds with one stone. Actually, there is no litigation going on with Europe at this time. The complaint to the EU is simple that---a complaint. Until the EU decides to open up an investigation (and that is not a slam dunk) there will be no demands on Q's attention. Although, I imagine they have run through potential defences during round tables.

I think part of the problem here is that it is difficult for QCOM to litigate with the Euronuts and sumultaneously negotiate licensed with the Chinese.

Datang Telecom set for restructuring

May. 29, 2007 (China Knowledge) – The Shanghai-listed Datang Telecom Technology <600198> Monday announced that its controlling shareholder, China Academy Telecommunications Technology, will inject a 36.6% stake in the company into a new holding unit.

Datang Telecom, a provider of telecommunications equipment, software development and microelectronics products, said the new unit had a registered capital of RMB 100 million.

The transfer is seen as a move to make way for China Academy to inject its other mobile technology businesses, which own patents for the homegrown TD-SCDMA standard for third-generation mobile phone, into Datang Telecom.
