well, does the $ 1600 include heating costs, utrilities, maintenance, money for new appliances, you know, the whole 9 yards ?

if the price is sub 300k, maybe one could assume it is an okay deal. but, answer this, if you please...lets say the tenant did own the house free and clear...what would her expenses be anyway ? and does the 800 for the studio include everything ?

without really fine tuning the numbers, it is easy to get caught up in the idea that owning is always better than renting...after all, it is both a home and an investment...except the example i gave you equates to a p/e of nearly fifty. no thanks, i can find a few gold shares with lower -g-
