Representative Peter King "I know this only got superficial review"

King justifies his objections to new port operation because he KNOWS this was not really investigated. He wants a complete investigation into the matter.

I have to assume he is being fed some information from one of the agencies that was looking into the matter. Could he be led down the wrong path? Unusual for King to join against Bush on matters of security but this may have more to do with nyc port contracts , unions etc. Perhaps pressure from his district?

What in principle is the difference between looking into shipping containers coming from overseas and listening into phone conversations coming from overseas?
