Cheney's shooting coverup follows a pattern of deceit, evasion, hiding the truth and refusing to come clean about the fact that the American People and congress need to know. It's not just that Cheney may have been drunk when he blasted his friend in the face, it's that his attempt to cover it up (which was real for about 20 hours) is more proof of a deeply disturbing pattern of mishevaior.

In other words, Bush-Cheney cannot be trusted. Cheney most of all. Cheney could in fact be a very dangerous man to our democracy and national well-being. Cheney's corruption may go even deeper than what is apparent already.
